Live Comedy L.A.

Tickets go on sale to the general public for Artie Lange’s stand-up comedy show in Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal City Walk on Saturday, February 9th at 1PM. There is an internet pre-sale that starts on Friday, February 8th…I am still trying to figure out those details from Ticketmaster and Live Nation. The show is on April 5th (that’s the same day as the Final Four…for those that care…it could be the greatest single day in the history of the planet for those of us that love stand-up comedy and college hoops).

Ladies and Gentleman…the Great Artie Lange from the Howard Stern Show will be performing live stand-up comedy in Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal CityWalk on Saturday, April 5th, 2008. April is shaping up to be a huge month for stand-up comedy in Los Angeles…when you add this show to the Chris Rock shows.

If I am not mistaken…Artie has not performed in L.A. in 4 or 5 years. He rarely makes a trip out here to perform stand-up. He is one of my all time favorites…and a must see.

Not much to say here…except this is your chance to see a stand-up comedy legend. I’ve seen him once in concert…and unless you’re blessed to catch him at a rare club drop in…this is your only shot to see him in Los Angeles during his tour.

Jim Gaffigan is one of my all time favorite comedians. He’s hilarious and his comedy is 100% clean. Which is an incredible feat. I don’t know any other comedian who can do 4 minutes on bacon (VideoShot). I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Gaffigan 3 times in small clubs…once at the Improv and twice at Largo. He rarely announces these types of performances. He is on the road so much that he does very few comedy shows locally in Los Angeles. I HIGHLY recommend this show.

If you’re cool…and you’re significant other is cool…going to see Katt Williams on Valentines Day sounds like a slam dunk to me. Katt Williams is unreal (VideoShot). Get your tickets starting Saturday, January 19th.
