I am obnoxiously late in posting this promo video for Bert Kreischer’s Comedy Central special but it’s just too good not to post. Kreischer and Christina Pazsitzky (the mom) are two of my favorite comedians in Los Angeles. Both are must see.

Aries Spears rolled the audience last night at the Melrose Improv with his Obama, porn, and Arnold jokes. I hadn’t seen him before but you have to put him on your list of comedians to see. You probably know him from MADtv.

It was good to see a packed show on a Friday night at the Improv, by the way. Manager Dee Burdett is doing a great job still getting people in the seats. Get on their email list…they offer free tickets all the time. Dov Davidoff was the headliner. He’s a little spastic for me, but definitely talented. Bert Kreischer, Josh McDermitt, and Adam Ray were also in the house.

Pretty sure Adam Ray is slowly morphing into Joe Rogan. Backwards hat. Heavy stubble…yet won’t commit to a beard. Puffy, red eyes. Pot jokes. Don’t get me wrong…he had a funny set…but don’t be surprised if you see him at UFC events or discussing the end of the world in 2012. I’m just sayin’…

1 full week in ’09…3 comedy shows…$8 total.  That’s a good pace…I should have a counter on the site.  On tap next week, Ronna and Beverly’s All Jew Review at UCB.

Why yes it is! “Aspiring comedian” Rebekah Kochan gives us a peak at her nip-nips in her head shots on her Myspace Comedy page. This may actually get her work. It may be in porn, but it’s work.

In any case, I’d put her nips up against Bert Kreischer’s nipples any day of the week. You be the judge.

Last month at Ballgame’s Laugh Lounge, Playboy Cyber Girl Natasha Budhi a.k.a The Chocolate Bunny crashed the show when Bert Kreischer was on stage. Matty “Ballgame” Balaker and his bro Ted cut this video that includes some clips of “Her Chocolateness”.

Crazy show last night at Ballgame’s Laugh Lounge. The line-up was killer – Last Comic Standing winner Iliza Schlesinger was in the house warming up material for her tour; Ryan Stout from MTV threw down 10 minutes; Carlos “The Chicken Whisperer” Kotkin killed it; plus new comer Brad Schecter did a quick 5; and Matty “Ballgame” Balaker brought the heat with some great jokes about disappointing his parents.

Just want to call out two great comedians – “Dragon Boy Suede” Howard Kremer did Ballgame’s show for the first time. I’ve said it before…he’s probably top 10 most talented comedians out there. He gave me a CD last night with the greatest song ever on it called “Nut Valet”. Did I mention DBS raps? Get this guy a show…now!

Finally, I got to see a complete set from Bert Kreisher. Jesus…he’s good. He’s all energy…and dirty. He does a joke about his baby girl sucking on a finger that killed. Plus…one of the great moments in Ballgame’s history happened last night. Playboy Cyber Girl Natasha Budhi (NSFW) a.k.a. “The Chocolate Bunny” showed up to the Laugh Lounge in an outfit that showed three-quarters of her beautiful and gigantic breasts. Some how she ended up on stage with Kreisher in one of the funniest exchanges ever. We need more Playboy Cyber girls at live comedy shows – you will be heavily promoted here at Live Comedy L.A. – I’m just sayin’.

Comedy is very subjective…so you are going to have to get out there and see these guys and gals yourself. But make no mistake about it, comedians are a tough crowd folks. I watch comedians in the back of the room during shows…when the audience is cracking up…they are not laughing. So when they say a comedian is funny, chances are, he/she is bringin’ the goods. Hope you find some new comedians to see from this list – I know I have.
