The Improv gave their homepage a much needed face lift. It’s not as clunky as it had been previously and the sections of the homepage are much more clearly defined. I like the featured videos and comedian blog posts.
I still don’t feel the Improv has jumped into Web 2.0 fully yet. They should have their own blog, the shows should be available via RSS, they should have links to their Myspace, Twitter, and Facebook pages available, and we should be able to comment on the site as well. Also, the calender function is still less than ideal. Why can’t we easily share these shows with others?
UCBTheater and UCBComedy are well done sites, but aren’t 100% there yet either.
Website development is a constant process though (believe me, I know). So hopefully we’ll be seeing more updates on the Improv site soon. Stay tuned for a face lift around here as well.
