Great point Dave. Connecting with people isn't just about telling them where your next show is. It's about connecting with them on a more personal level.

I've been blogging over 4 years now. I'll never stop. And a blog doesn't have to be about your comedy career in order to connect with people. In fact more connections can be made if your blog covers a wide variety of topics. I've even traveled overseas to consult about blogging.

BTW, howabout adding me on MYspace....I've added your blog to my "Links That I Like" at my website.

I heard that Dice was interesting in buying the place. This is nothing substantiated, but that would also make sense. He's a comic who's not afraid of business ventures. Either way, I hope they do something with that place.

I really like using Twitter for RooftopComedy, I like the idea of being in constant communication with the people who follow us and vice versa. I like the idea of not only am I, as a representative of RooftopComedy letting them know of new/cool stuff we have on deck, but also it's like we're "threading a narrative", and letting people what we're doing, the whole RooftopComedy is people too thing! I wish more comedians got in on it. I'm def looking forward to more of these articles! I also like to think that RooftopComedy is on that bleeding edge of comedy + tech. =D

Great write up. We got a post show interview with the bunny. I'll let you know how it turns out. This is another example of why comedy is best served live.

Brad is a good dude, and I'm sure he'll find another venue. There's gotta be a Room 6 out there.

this list is a hoax. number 1 and number 2 on the list are dating. number 3 and number 1 made a viral video together, i think. number 4 is well...you be the judge. there are so many more comics out there that are better than this list. no wonder why it's not the variety list. it seems like the wanna-be list. stick with variety.

It's no secret that Dane has been accused of this in the past. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please google "Dane & Louie CK"

However, can we get anybody else from that night at the Improv to back up "Jenny" before we start pointing fingers?

I'm not a big Dane fan myself. But the guy deserves a fair fight before the accusations start getting published. And I say this, as a guy who has a friend who he and I (and others) strongly believe Dane stole a bit from. It was published in People magazine... the joke... not the accusations. We all read the article - we know what show my friend did that Dane showed up to - but at least that has more than one person shouting "thief!"
