This event looks cool. Not in the traditional stand-up, improv, or sketch mold...but that's what's cool about it. Melinda Hill is a well-known comedian around town and she'll be throwin' down some linguistics I presume.

The Literary Death Match is coming to Hollywood! Starring: Joshua Lyon (author of the recently out memoir Pill Head), Melinda Hill (actress, comedian, writer, triple-threat representing Whatsup Tiger Lily comedy show) Rich Ferguson (representing TheNervousBreakdown.com), and Chris “Whitey” Erickson (representing Flatmancrooked), all judged by brillianteurs Mark Sarvas (author of Harry, Revised, blogger extraordinaire), Sarah Thyre (author of Dark at the Roots, Cherri Wolf on Strangers with Candy), and Alison Becker (improv-genius, Mayne Street).
