Comedy Calendar Syndication

Live Comedy L.A. recently launched it’s Comedy Calendar. Everyday, the calendar is updated with the best shows in the city, the “must see” performers, and the best deals on tickets. Its more than just a listing of every comedy show in L.A. though. Its an informed filter so people don’t waste time and money, but can still get out and laugh.

The LCLA Comedy Calendar comes with personal experience with each show and performer. It comes with insider info and commentary. It comes with personal relationships with the comedians and producers. And most importantly, it comes with a passion to get people out and laughing.

Knowing who the best comedians are and where and when the best comedy shows are happening is an obsession for me. I am at the local comedy spots nightly because I love live comedy. And I’m here to bring that to you and your audience. You get all of the content with none of the work and cost.

HOW DOES IT WORK

The LCLA Comedy Calendar has a dedicated RSS feed that allows for syndication of the content. All content is managed by Live Comedy L.A. and requires no additional management from you. So it’s all of the content and none of the work.

There are three ways to syndicate the LCLA Comedy Calendar content. They are not mutually exclusive. Meaning you can choose to do one, two, or all three options. In fact, choosing more than one option is encouraged.

SYNDICATION OPTIONS

TWITTER
With the help of TwitterFeed, you can add the LCLA Comedy Calendar RSS Feed to your Twitter. When the LCLA Comedy Calendar is updated, a tweet will automatically go out to your followers (from you) with the info about the event. This feature saves you time while still being able to deliver content to your followers. There is no retweeting necessary. It happens automatically. You have complete control over the feed settings, so that you can adjust them to your liking.

WIDGET
You can add the LCLA Comedy Calendar widget anywhere on your site and the content is automatically updated with the best comedy shows in the city. We manage all of the back-end tech required for the widget on our end. All you do is place a small piece of code on your site in a location that you deem appropriate for comedy events.

WEB PAGE
The LCLA Comedy Calendar can be fully integrated into your website very easily and customized to fit the current design of your site. Feedburner’s BuzzBoost tool provides a simple snippet of code that we will provide to you, enabling you to display the content of the LCLA Comedy Calendar on your site. Some simple styling with CSS will make the calendar blend perfectly into your site. All of the information is still updated automatically with no additional work from you.
